Built in 1947, Sec Taylor Stadium was located in Des Moines, IA and originally known as Pioneer Memorial Stadium. In 1959, the park was renamed in honor of Des Moines Register sports editor Sec Taylor. It was home of the Iowa Cubs for many years before being demolished to make way for Principal Park, which is currently the home of the Cubs.
