Seattle was represented by the Seattle Rainiers from 1919 to 1921, but changed names to the Seattle Indians in 1922. The Indians won the Pacific Coast League Championship in 1924, but was a second division club for most of the rest of its existance. In 1938 Seattle returned to the more familiar Rainiers moniker.
