Sean Jamieson is a minor league infielder.

Sean was drafted out of Canisius College in Buffalo, NY in the 17th round of the 2011 amateur draft by the Oakland Athletics. Signing immediately with the A's, he began his professional career that summer with the Vermont Lake Monsters, where he hit .35 in 69 games, with 27 stolen bases in 32 attempts as the team's starting shortstop. In 2012, he moved up to the Burlington Bees of the Midwest League where in 18 games he hit .234 with 25 doubles and 10 homers, adding another 25 steals in 30 attempts. On August 20th, the A's traded him to the Arizona Diamondbacks in return for major league shortstop Stephen Drew.
