Sean Forman

Sean Forman is a math professor at St. Joseph's University and baseball researcher. In 2000, he created Baseball-Reference.com, which soon became one of the most popular statistical sites on the internet with a simplified format in an age of dial-up connections when fancier sites took forever to load, plus stats not covered in those forums. The site has greatly expanded since then and in 2005 the BR Bullpen was created to add biographical and historical information to the numbers. This site would not exist if not for the work of Sean. In 2006 he won the award for best research presentation at the annual SABR convention.
