Alternatively known as the Surprise Scorpions, the Scottsdale Scorpions are an Arizona Fall League team which plays their home games at Scottsdale Stadium in Phoenix, AZ, the Cactus League Spring Training Facility of the Oakland A's. The Desert Dogs play in the East Division of the AFL with the Mesa Solar Sox and the Phoenix Desert Dogs.
