In late May 2006, Scott Sauerbeck was found with a severely drunk woman in his 1966 Lincoln Continental convertible when police noted the car weaving back and forth along the road. Sauerbeck and his companion (who was not his wife) hid from the police before being arrested. He was charged with obstructing official business and permitting someone intoxicated to drive his vehicle.
