Pratt's brother, Trent Pratt, was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 38th round of the 1998 draft (1133rd overall pick). Trent decided to follow in his brother's footsteps and go to Auburn. In 2002, he was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 12th round (359th overall).

[edit] Collegiate Career

In 1998, Pratt had a 26 game hitting streak. It is the second longest hitting streak in Auburn history. By the end of the season he had compiled a .407 batting average and a .503 OBP with 105 hits, 38 extra base hits, 82 runs scored, six triples, 33 stolen bases, 33 multi-hit games, 51 walks, and 171 total bases.

In 1999, Pratt led the Carolina League in stolen bases (47) while with Kinston.
