[edit] Biographical Information
Scott Breeden pitched twelve years in the minors (1956-1967), enjoying a personal best 17-5, 2.09 ERA season for Kokomo of the Midwest League in 1958. He then spent 16 years as a minor league pitching coach in the Cincinnati Reds organization before working as their MLB pitching coach (1986-1989). He closed out his coaching career with the Toronto Blue Jays' organization before retiring in 2004.
He died at age 68 in his Tampa, FL-area home from a heart attack on February 21, 2006.
