Sarasota Rookie League
From BR Bullpen
The Sarasota Rookie League was the original name for what is now called the Gulf Coast League. The league started in 1964, changed names to the Florida Rookie League in 1965, and to the Gulf Coast League in 1966. As the name suggests, all games were played in Sarasota, FL.
