Santiago Ramirez saved 3 games and allowed no runs in 6 1/3 IP for the Dominican Republic team in the 2001 Baseball World Cup, leading the tourney in saves. He was 1-0 with a 5.47 ERA in 27 games for the 2007 Chunichi Dragons. He allowed 3 runs in 3 1/3 innings for the Aguilas Cibaeñas in the 2008 Caribbean Series.
