Sandy Wihtol is the only player in Major League history with a last name that starts with "Wih". There are currently no players in the minor leagues that have a chance of "threatening" this title any time soon.
His brother, Al Wihtol, was a member of the New York Mets organization.
Sandy has been a realtor in the San Francisco Bay area since 1986.
