Outfielder Sandy Griffin played four seasons in the majors, getting a full season's worth of at-bats in only 1890, the year of three leagues, with the 1890 Rochester Broncos.
From 1886-89 he was in the International League, and from 1882-99 he was in the Eastern League. He managed a dozen years in the Eastern League and the New York State League as well as briefly in the majors.
