The San Francisco Senators played in the Alaska Baseball League in 1988. They performed poorly, finishing last in the five-team league at 11-24. It was a bad year for the Alaskan economy, resulting in only two Alaskan teams competing, with San Francisco joining Hawaii and Pullman, WA in putting up teams.
