Samsung Lions

One of the first teams in the history of the Korea Baseball Organization, the Samsung Lions participated in the KBO's first game ever. They won titles in 1985, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2011 and 2012 and made it to the finals of the first Asia Series in 2005 before losing to the Chiba Lotte Marines. They were the first non-Japanese team to win an Asia Series, doing so in 2011. They were the third team in history to win the Korean Series in consecutive years, following the Haitai Tigers (1986-1989 and 1996-1997) and Hyundai Unicorns (2003-2004).
