Pitcher Sam Narron, who pitched one game for the 2004 Texas Rangers shortly after he turned 23 years old, went 15-5 split between two minor league teams in 2008.
He is the nephew of catcher and manager Jerry Narron and John Narron and the grandson of catcher Sam Narron.
His grandfather Sam was a catcher with the St. Louis Cardinals.
