Saint John (as it is usually spelled) is the largest city in the province of New Brunswick, Canada, located at the mouth of the Saint John River on the Bay of Fundy, 70 miles southeast of Fredericton, NB. Bill Phillips and Matt Stairs were born here, over 100 years apart. Other major leaguers born here were John O'Brien, Tom Daly, Art McGovern, Jim McKeever, Bill O'Neill and Henry Mullin.
