- Daniel Malandruccolo owns a career batting average of 1.000 after hitting a double in his only at bat.
- Todd Frazier and Casey Gaynor won the 1998 Little League World Series as members of Toms River East, and their older brothers, Jeff Frazier and Colin Gaynor, were also teammates at Rutgers and played together on the 1995 Toms River East LLWS team.
