Archdale Ross Kendrick

• Born August 25, 1908 in Leeds, ON, Canada
• Died January 19, 1975 in Birmingham, England

Ross Kendrick was a pitcher-outfielder for Great Britain in the 1938 Amateur World Series. In the first Amateur World Series game ever, Kendrick two-hit the USA with 16 strikeouts, allowing no runs. In game four, he went the distance, giving up 3 hits and fanning 12. He helped Britain win the Series. Kendrick played for the Oldham Greyhounds of Lancashire-Yorkshire League in 1938 and 1939.

In 2009, Kendrick was part of the inaugural class for the British Baseball Hall of Fame.
