The brother of Ken Boyer, Clete Boyer, Len Boyer and Cloyd Boyer, Ron Boyer spent 8 years in the New York Yankees chain from 1962 to 1969. He only hit above .200 twice and never hit double-digit home runs. He made it to the AAA Syracuse Chiefs in 1967 for 23 games. Boyer spent the rest of 1966-1969 in AA ball.
