Roger Miller pitched for the 1974 Milwaukee Brewers. He had recently turned 20, and was roughly a year older than teammate Robin Yount. He also went 11-5 in 1974 for Sacramento, where he was a teammate of Gorman Thomas and Bill McNulty, each of which who hit over 50 home runs for the team that year. Roger had gone 8-4 for Danville in 1973.
In 1977 he went 8-5 for Spokane, where he was again a teammate of Gorman Thomas.
Miller was born and died in southwestern Pennsylvania and attended high school in the same area.
Roger Miller died tragically at the age of 38 as the result of an accidental explosion while working as a welder in Connellsville, PA.
