Pitcher Roger Alexander was sent by the Milwaukee Brewers to the Atlanta Braves on December 2, 1974 to complete the trade that sent then-home run record holder Hank Aaron to the Brewers for Dave May and a player to be named on November 2, 1974. In 1974, Alexander had led the Texas League with 130 runs allowed and 105 earned runs, en route to a 9-13 6.43 ERA season. He never reached the major leagues.
