Rodrigo Tello has pitched for the Panamanian national team. Tello went 1-0 with a 1.50 ERA in the 2007 Pan American Games, beating Venezuela. He had a 10.78 ERA in the 2007 Baseball World Cup, struggling in his two outings.
He signed with Draci Brno for 2008 and went 2-0 with a save and a 3.06 ERA in the regular season. He was 0-1 with a 5.14 ERA in the 2008 European Cup in Regensburg, losing to Nettuno.
In the 2008 Americas Baseball Cup, Tello was 1-1 with a 3.09 ERA, shutting down Brazil in a win.
