[edit] Biographical Information

While playing for the Vancouver Canadians of the Pacific Coast League on May 27, 1991, Rodney McCray tracked down a fly ball hit by Chip Hale in a game at Portland. McCray, who could not come up with the catch, crashed through the plywood right field wall in one of the most replayed highlights of all time. The moment was recently immortalized with a bobble-head doll [1]. McCray played in the major leagues for a few teams, most notably the Chicago White Sox, and was known primarily for his speed and stolen bases.
