Rochester Patriots
From BR Bullpen
In 1898, the Rochester Patriots replaced the Scranton Miners in the Eastern League but fared poorly and for the second year in a row Rochester, NY lost its team in mid-season. In July, the Patriots moved to Ottawa, ON and became the Ottawa Wanderers. At 53-70 overall, the Patriots/Wanderers had the worst record. They were managed by Bill Clymer and Sandy Griffin.
