[edit] Biographical information

Robert White was a minor league baseball first baseman who played from 1946 to 1953. In 645 games, he hit .309 with 817 hits, 136 doubles, 31 triples and 85 home runs. He hit as high as .344 with 18 home runs in a single season. He spent his entire career in the low minors, never reaching even the A level.

In 1950, he managed the Salt Lake City Bees for part of the year, replacing Earl Bolyard.
