Robert Fick burst onto the M.L. scene in 1998 with a reputation as a solid batsman. His main claim to fame is being the last hitter to homer in Tiger Stadium before the Detroit Tigers moved to Comerica Park in 2000. His homer was a grand slam off the right field roof in the last game played at Tiger Stadium. His brothers, Chris Fick and Chuck Fick, both played in the minor leagues. His nephew, Chuckie Fick, has played in the minors since 2007.
