[edit] Biographical Information
Robert Fick's claim to fame is being the last hitter to homer in Tiger Stadium before the Detroit Tigers moved to Comerica Park in 2000. His homer was a grand slam off the right field roof in the last game played at Tiger Stadium. His brothers, Chris Fick and Chuck Fick, both played in the minor leagues.
Fick, as Alex Rodriguez would one year later, attempted in vain to dislodge the baseball from the first baseman's glove -in this case, Eric Karros of the Chicago Cubs - in a 2003 playoff game.

- 1997 MVP Midwest League West Michigan Whitecaps
- AL All-Star (2002)
