Robbe De Jongh debuted in the 2006 First Division with the Port of Antwerp Greys, going 1-0 with two saves and a 7.88 ERA. The next year, he walked 17 and allowed 22 hits and 17 runs in only 13 innings but still got a save and no losses. He was 0-2 with a 9.82 ERA for Belgium in the 2007 European Junior Championship, losing to Russia and Spain and saving a win over Poland. In 2008, De Jongh improved to 4-1, 5.72 with six saves and was 4 for 11 with four walks at the plate.

The right-hander was 3-3 with five saves and a 4.75 ERA for the 2009 Greys. In the 2009 European Cup, the teenager allowed four runs in nine to keep Antwerp in a game against the Rouen Huskies of France through regulation; Bryon Bell relieved him in the 10th and blew it.

De Jongh debuted for the Belgian senior national team in the 2010 European Championship.
