Rob Ducey represented Canada at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. He later coached for Canada, in the 2006 World Baseball Classic and 2008 Final Olympic Qualification Tournament. Nick Weglarz, the home run leader in the 2008 tournament, credited Ducey with helping his mental approach at the plate. He was back with Canada as a coach in the 2008 Olympics.
Rob Ducey is currently a scout for the Toronto Blue Jays.
