Ricky Seilheimer was a member of the 1980 Chicago White Sox. He was just 19 and had been drafted the previous year by the team when he made his debut. He started at catcher in 18 games in July and early August of 1980. He batted 8th in every game except one, when he batted 7th. He hit one home run on July 26 against Fergie Jenkins of the Texas Rangers. His homer and a walk-off homer by Harold Baines helped the White Sox win the game, 4-3. Seilheimer commited 4 errors in his 21 games.
