Rich Maloney

Rich Maloney was selected in the 13th round of the 1986 amateur draft by the Atlanta Braves. He played in their farm system until 1991, earning all-star honors in 1987 with the Sumter Braves.

Maloney was an assistant coach at Western Michigan University from 1992 to 1995. He became a head coach at Ball State University from 1996 to 2002. Maloney has been the head coach at the University of Michigan since 2003.
