Outfielder Riccardo Ingram was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the fourth round of the 1987 amateur draft and played a decade in the minors with cups of coffee in the big leagues in 1994 and 1995.

After retiring as a player, Ingram spent six seasons as a minor league coach. He became manager of the GCL Twins in 2004 and spent the next year as skipper of the Fort Myers Miracle. In 2006-2007, he was the manager of the New Britain Rock Cats.
