Rey Vicente Anglada has played for and managed the Cuban national team.
Anglada debuted as a player with the Industriales in 1972-1973. He stole 18 bases to lead the 1977 Selective Series. In 1980, Rey had 17 swipes to lead the Selective Series. During the 1980-1981 Serie Nacional, he led with 24 steals; in the 1981 Selective Series, he won his 4th steal title with 17.
Rey's playing career ended in 1982 due to a gambling scandal. He was blacklisted from Cuban ball for 20 years. For his career, he had hit .291/.362/.398 with 197 steals in 286 tries. He had fielded .976.
