Renato Anastagasti

Renato Anastagasti was on the roster of the Netherlands Antilles in events 24 years apart.
Anastagasti hit .196/.196/.217 in the 1984 Amateur World Series and fielded .878 at third base, starting for the Antilles there. He played for them in the 1986 Amateur World Series as well. In the 1988 Baseball World Cup, Renato was 3 for 15 with a double.
The Antilles did not play in another major international event until the 2008 Americas Baseball Cup; Anastagasti was a player-coach for the Antilles then. He did not get into a game as a player but his squad won a spot in the 2009 Baseball World Cup. Anastagasti coached for the Antilles in that World Cup.
