In 2006, Draijer hit .229/.321/.250 as a 18-year-old for the Amsterdam Pirates. He was even less effective offensively in 2007 (.220/.289/.233), though he fielded .990 and had eight assists in 40 games in the outfield. In the playoffs, he went 2 for 14. In 2008, he hit .239/.324/.272. He tripled in his only playoff at-bat and scored a run. He then did a fine job in the 2008 Holland Series, going 5 for 12 with a double, walk, run and RBI as the Pirates won the Series.

Draijer moved to Corendon Kinheim for the 2009 Hoofdklasse season and improved to .313/.367/.352 though he only fielded .908. He went one for six with a walk in the postseason. In 2010, he produced at a .316/.397/.390 clip for Kinheim. He was 12th in the league in average, 13th in slugging, 11th in OBP and tied for 10th with 8 doubles (even with Randy Daal and Lennart Koster).

Remco hit .258/.372/.329 with 35 runs in 42 games in 2011, while stealing 15 bases in 18 tries. He played error-free ball in the outfield (101 chances). He tied Vince Rooi for fifth in the loop in runs scored, tied Adrian Anthony for 8th in walks (27) and was third in steals (behind Dwayne Kemp and Roelie Henrique). The next year, he batted .301/.424/.414 with 14 steals in 17 attempts. He tied Norbert Lokhorst for 10th in the circuit in OBP, tied Michael Duursma for 7th in walks (27 again) and was again third in swipes (behind Kody Hightower and Henrique). In the 2012 Holland Series, he led all players with 8 RBI as Kinheim pulled off an upset sweep of DOOR Neptunus; his other numbers were okay (4 for 14, triple, 3 runs, one walk). His 3-run triple off Tim Roodenburg was the big blow in game 3.
