Reid Nichols played 8 years in the major leagues for 3 different teams. He had a 2-home run game on August 24, 1982 as a member of the Boston Red Sox against the Seattle Mariners. The pitchers were Bob Stoddard and Bill Caudill. He had a triple in every year of his career except 1986. His 7 stolen bases for the 1983 Red Sox was second on the team.
Nichols has been the Farm Director of the Milwaukee Brewers since 2003 and held the same post with the Texas Rangers from at 1994 to 2001.
