He is not to be confused with another Reggie Williams who played with the 1995 Dodgers. There have also been two NFL players and one NBA player of the same name.
He attended the Southern University and A&M College, a couple decades after Lou Brock went there. He was honored at graduation for having the highest GPA in the Athletic Dept.
He played in the minors at Lethbridge and elsewhere for the Dodgers, and hurt his shoulder badly during winter ball.
After baseball he earned two Master's Degrees and became an Assistant Principal in Memphis. Thereafter he joined the Memphis Redbirds' front office.
