Emil "Reggie" Richter, born in Germany, pitched 22 games for the 1911 Cubs, who finished in second place. His ERA was 3.13, better than the league ERA of 3.39. Richter also pitched for Louisville, Montreal and Newark in his minor league career.
He was born in Germany in the same year that Marty Krug was born there.
