Reed Johnson had a 20-game hitting streak in 2003, which at the time was (and still may be) fifth best in Toronto Blue Jays history.
Johnson tied a major league record on April 29, 2006 when he was hit by a pitch three times in a game against the New York Yankees - and during the next game, he was hit in his first at-bat. He also led the majors in 2006 in times hit by pitch with 21.
He was signed by Chicago Cubs on March 25, 2008.
