Ray Medeiros appeared in one game in the major leagues in April 1945 at age 19 but did not have a plate appearance or play in the field. He was not, however, the youngest player on the team that year, as Herm Wehmeier was only 18. The oldest player on the team was 46-year-old Hod Lisenbee, who made his debut in the major leagues before Medeiros was one year old.
