Ramon Romeijn made his pro debut in 2007.

Romeijn began the 2007 season with the Hoofddorp Pioniers, walking 14 and allowing 15 runs (10 earned) in 10 innings while going 1-1. He was actually better in the US minors than in Hoofdklasse that year. Signed by the Seattle Mariners out of the European Baseball Academy, he had a 7.04 ERA for the AZL Mariners. He struck out 9 in 7 2/3 innings and allowed 9 hits, 5 walks and 3 wild pitches.
