Ralph Sutherland

The father of Gary Sutherland and Darrell Sutherland, Ralph Sutherland pitched two years in the minor leagues. In 1936, he was 15-3 with a 2.32 ERA for the Newport Cardinals and was briefly with the Springfield Cardinals. He tied for fourth in the Northeast Arkansas League in wins and was second in ERA. In 1937, Ralph had a 13-14, 5.30 line for the Albuquerque Cardinals and hit .224 with no homers and 17 RBI.
