[edit] Biographical Information
Ralph Miller played three years in the majors. Although he was a regular with the 1920 Phillies and had over 200 at-bats with the 1921 Phillies, he made the 1924 World Series with the 1924 Washington Senators, for whom he played in only nine games during the regular season.
In post-season in 1924 he was in four games, mostly batting eighth in the line-up.
Miller was born and died in Fort Wayne, IN, and also played in the minors for Fort Wayne in 1932, hitting .325. His manager there was Bill Wambsganss.
He is not to be confused with a couple other major leaguers named Ralph Miller. One of them was also in the majors in 1921, playing for the Senators.
