Rafael Torrez's surname has also been spelled Torres, and according to one source (1992 Fleer ProCards #1716) his weight was 188 pounds.

Torrez was signed by the Milwaukee Brewers in 1992, and began his professional career in their system that very same year. Pitching for the Helena Brewers, he made 17 appearances (16 starts), going 6-5 with a 4.97 ERA in 87 innings of work. The following year, he made 10 relief appearances for the Beloit Brewers, going 0-0 with a 7.87 ERA. That was the extent of his career. Overall, he went 6-5 with a 5.42 ERA in 103 1/3 innings of work (27 games, 16 starts).

Torrez was once thought to have been born on November 15, 1969, but his birthdate was found out to be November 15, 1967 instead.
