Pitcher Rafael Chaves played in the minors from 1986 to 1997. After spending several seasons as a minor league pitching coach, he became the Seattle Mariners pitching coach in 2006. In 2009-2012 Chaves was the minor league Pitching Coordinator for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
