[edit] Biographical Information

Pitcher Ray Scarborough had his finest year in 1948, when he went 15-8 with the Washington Senators. After his playing career ended, he was a member of the Baltimore Orioles coaching staff in 1968. Scarborough scouted for the Orioles, California Angels (1973-1977) and Milwaukee Brewers (1978-1982). He died of a heart attack in 1982 at age 64.
