- Bats Right, Throws Right
Quensley Bazoer has been an outfielder in the Hoofdklasse.
In 2005, with the Tornado's, the 20-year-old hit .185/.235/.207. He fielded .885 in left field, the worst of any regular left fielder in the Hoofdklasse that season. He was 7 for 30 with two walks and two steals for ADO in 2006, backing up James Rutherford and Jermaine Esprit in left and Harvey Monte in center. Bazoer was just 7 for 37 with a walk in 2007, backing up Monte in center field.
Becoming ADO's starting center fielder in 2008, Bazoer batted .233/.270/.267. He stole 10 bases in 15 tries, tying Jakub Malik for fifth in the league in swipes. He fielded .987, .001 behind Danny Rombley, the leader in CF.
Moving to HCAW in 2009, Quensley again hit .233, but raised OBP to .333 and his slugging percentage to .308. He fielded .968 in right with six assists in 38 games. He stole 12 bases in 16 attempts to place fifth in steals. He struck out in 42 of 120 at-bats, not a good sign.
