Purnal Goldy played 15 games in right field for the 1962 Detroit Tigers. He wasn't going to take away Al Kaline's job, so the next season he appeared in 9 games without being in the field.
He showed decent power in 1962, with 3 homers and a double and a triple in 70 at-bats.
