Pug Cavet's pro career ran from 1908 till 1930. In that span he won 302 games and lost 252. He won 20+ games for Mobile in 1913, Nashville in 1917 and Indianapolis in 1919 and 1921. As early as 1910 he went 18-15 (for Rock Island) and as late as 1926 he went 15-8 (for Atlanta). In the majors he was 11-9 with a 2.98 ERA. He also managed a couple seasons in the minors.
While with the Detroit Tigers he was three years younger than teammate Ty Cobb.
