Principal Park was built in 1992 and has been home to the Iowa Cubs ever since. The park is located in Des Moines, IA near the intersection of the Des Moines and Raccoon Rivers. It was originally named Sec Taylor Park after a local sportswriter, and it stands on the site of the club's former home, also known as Sec Taylor Stadium.
