Pete Johns played for the 1915 White Sox and the 1918 Browns.
He had 100 at-bats with the 1915 White Sox as one of four players used at third base. Pete hit .210 while the most-used third-baseman, Lena Blackburne, hit .216.
With the 1918 Browns he had 89 at-bats and was used all over the field.
Johns, born in Cleveland, OH, played in the Ohio State League as early as 1909. Much of his minor league career was spent playing for Akron and Columbus.
